Call me crazy.

Meg and I have been running and picking out different challenges to do for almost six months now. When I say we run together, I really mean we start together and then I just follow from a distance.
I started with the C25k trainer and then started doing interval running (3 minutes run, 2 minutes walk) for a while. Then we got to the point where we would just pick a mileage to run, or follow a Pinterest plan.
It's not all that odd for me to get a text from Meg about a new challenge and automatically be okay with trying it. That was not the case when this text message came in.
100 miles in May.
I took a couple days to think on it.
The next time I saw Meg I told her I would try, but I was too nervous about it to make it public. I'm still proud of her for telling everyone before she started!
Fourteen miles in..it's official.. I'm committed and now the world can know.
I know that this goal won't come without challenges. When I decided to do this, I completely forgot that I'll be in NYC for seven days. Hopefully the hotel has a treadmill! This Friday is going to be a busy day too... I'm graduating with my Master's degree!! (stay tuned for more about that event)
I'm trying to do between 3 and 5 miles a day. Whether those miles are all together, or split up into a couple runs a day, I'm good with that. My only condition is to actually run all of the miles, even if it is slow.
14 miles down. 86 to go.

You are crazy. The end. :)
